I don't have anything good to say about it except for the first section that he was in. They listed a lot of things that didn't happen. They listed music and that somebody was coming in to play the piano, but it happened only twice while he was there. The rest of the time, they played bingo once a day and had games and crafts in the evening. It was nothing like they said that it was going to be.

However, nothing beats actually visiting the nursing home yourself when possible. I was in a place called Greenbriar for three months. I had my wits about me, and I could not believe it. They just had a brand new facility added on for rehab, and it is beautiful. My mom was well taken care of while in rehab for a fall. Her PT went well and allowed her to leave earlier than expected.

We had a disappointing experience at Freedom Village at Bradenton. The outside grounds are beautiful, and most of the nursing are pretty good, but the CNAs were not trained properly. There were just too many things that were going on that were not good for us. The food was pretty good, he did not really eat a lot, but it was pretty decent.
